Find recoverable hours.
See idle periods and repeated stops. Focus improvement work on the losses that cost your operation the most.
Measure: hours recoveredFind lost production time. Plan maintenance with better information. Keep machine knowledge with your team. HYLX brings it together on an industrial PC at your site.

HYLX connects machine information with the work needed to improve performance. Your team can see the issue, organise the response and retain what it learns.

Measure: hours recoveredBring fault records, documents and past work into the investigation. Give the next person a better starting point.
Measure: time to resolutionUse condition trends, scheduled tasks, work orders and parts visibility to prepare maintenance before the job begins.
Measure: overdue work and delaysRecord what failed, what was done and what helped. Build equipment knowledge that supports every shift and handover.
Measure: repeat faults and search timeStart with one measurable opportunity. Use your own production economics to explore the potential return.

Assumes the same benefit each month from the start.
Illustrative estimate, not measured customer results or guaranteed savings. Recovered time has value only when it supports useful production or avoids a real cost. Use consistent figures excluding GST; tax, financing, ramp-up and discounting are not modelled.
Monthly net benefit = recovered hours × net value per hour − ongoing monthly costs. Annual net benefit = monthly net benefit × 12. Simple payback = upfront investment ÷ monthly net benefit. First-year ROI = (annual net benefit − upfront investment) ÷ upfront investment × 100. Avoid counting the same recovered time again as maintenance or labour savings.

View vibration and temperature readings, follow trends and compare them with a recorded baseline.

Screenshots from the HYLX development environment. Readings and records shown are for illustration; monitoring scope depends on the equipment and installation.
HYLX runs on a dedicated industrial PC (IPC) at your premises. Machine readings are processed locally, with operational records stored on the IPC.
Selected IO-Link sensors measure vibration, temperature, pressure or flow. Suitable machine status signals can also be brought in through digital I/O.
IFM IO-Link masters connect the field hardware to the HYLX IPC over a dedicated monitoring network. The application and its data run on site.
Review machine activity, condition trends, maintenance, work orders, parts and equipment knowledge in the HYLX interface.
Day-to-day monitoring runs locally without an internet connection, while the IPC and monitoring hardware remain powered and connected. Internet access is used for installation, updates and any agreed remote support.
The IPC specification, sensor package, signal connections and installation scope are agreed after reviewing your equipment. Start with a defined group of machines and the information that matters.
INHOTEK brings together equipment understanding, maintenance planning and service workflow experience. HYLX gives that work a shared source of information.
Review recurring breakdowns, maintenance gaps and lost production time. Define a baseline and the result you want to measure.
Agree the IPC, sensors and connections, along with the maintenance tasks, equipment records and people who will use the information.
Start with an agreed demonstration or pilot. Review the evidence with your team and use it to prioritise the next maintenance or improvement action.
Founder’s career experience
“I do not believe software should make a factory look good. I believe it should help a factory get better.”
I’m Jaco, founder of INHOTEK and a trade-qualified Machine Tool Millwright. My career has taken me from hands-on fault finding and machine installation into service management and technical operations leadership.
I’ve built remote support operations, delivered a condition-monitoring service program, re-engaged customers in preventive maintenance and developed a case-management system used in daily service work.
That experience shapes INHOTEK: understand the equipment, organise the response and keep the knowledge. HYLX brings the information together so people can make better maintenance and operating decisions.
Tell us about your equipment, recurring problems and maintenance priorities. We’ll discuss where HYLX and INHOTEK’s practical experience could help.
